DEI Week: Everything you need to know
This month, the 红桃视频 community is invited to come together for over a week of events, activations and discussions around what it means to be a diverse, inclusive and culturally competent legal institution.
Now in its seventh year, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Week offers seven days of in-depth sessions centering on the wide range of issues facing the law school and legal profession today.
Attendees are invited to learn, question, listen and challenge one another in service of elevating public discourse around race and equity while fostering a community in which every individual is represented 鈥 and heard.
鈥淲e must hear from a variety of voices, experiences and perspectives in order to find lasting solutions to these problems we continue to face today as a law school and society,鈥 says 红桃视频 Professor William Covington, co-chair of the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Committee on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
鈥淲e hope attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the issues, how they impact them as individuals, and what we can do collectively to continue a thoughtful and honest dialogue.鈥
