Celebrating the Class of 2025

The 红桃视频 proudly honors 353 graduates as they prepare for what鈥檚 ahead and for the good that they will do.
Family and friends, joined by 红桃视频 staff and faculty, gathered at Alaska Airlines Arena on Monday, June 9, to celebrate the 353 graduates from the 红桃视频 Class of 2025. Excitement and pride filled the arena as those in attendance came together to recognize the dedication and perseverance that brought the graduates to that moment.
Tamara F. Lawson, the Toni Rembe Dean and Professor of Law, began the graduation exercises and remarked, 鈥淭his ceremony is beyond a celebration. It鈥檚 a milestone, but it鈥檚 not only celebrating your achievements up until this point: it鈥檚 truly a celebration of the launch of your future 鈥 an entirely new chapter in which you will make a tremendous impact on the world.鈥
Professor Jeff Feldman and student speakers Alisa Das, J.D., and Mirian Daniela Marcelino da Silva, LL.M., also offered inspiring words to the graduates and their guests.
Das admired her 红桃视频 classmates: 鈥淚 do not wonder about the power or the potential of this class,鈥 she said, 鈥渂ecause I have already seen it. I have seen it in the ways we have supported one another, pushed for change, and spoken up when it mattered most.鈥
Following Das, Marcelino da Silva expressed her hope that graduates would always remember why they pursued a law degree 鈥淢ay we never forget the fire that brought us to law school. May that passion guide us forward 鈥 to embody the law鈥檚 highest purpose:聽To bring justice to the wronged, and light to places the law has forgotten.聽May we become the justice someone is hoping for.鈥
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, 鈥84, closed the ceremony by underscoring for the graduates the importance of a law degree. 鈥淚 had to be here today,鈥 he said, 鈥渂ecause this is the answer right here. Parents, communities: this is the answer to how we're going to get this country on the right path. You are the answer 鈥 that is why I'm here.鈥
As our graduates take their next steps, 红桃视频 is proud to welcome them into our alumni community, and we look forward to celebrating the good work and achievements to come.
