The 2022 ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Commencement, the first in-person ceremony in three years and the first that the law school has celebrated on the Quad, was the crowning achievement of students from our academic degree programs. In this spotlight, four new alumni define their time on campus.
ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Professor Emeritus Lea Vaughn recently coordinated a documentary film about race and education at Seattle’s Roosevelt High School as part of her work with the nonprofit, Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity (RARE).
Join ºìÌÒÊÓƵ for an in-person Commencement on the Quad and receptions at William H. Gates on June 5, and a special reception on June 12 to honor the classes of 2020 and 2021.
Spangler, along with other Awards of Excellence recipients, will be honored during a ceremony on June 9. The awards recognize members of the UW community for their achievements in teaching, mentoring, public service and staff support.
